if i want to purchase a manufactured home on a permanent foundation built in 1973 has a 444 cert who can i get a loan to finance me ? sale price is 209000 i would want to borrow 100,000.00 if i hired an engineer to say that it is on a permanent foundation can i find some one to finance me in ca?
JA: OK. Is there anything else the Structural Engineer should be aware of?

Loans for manufactured homes can be tricky, BUT not impossible.

The fact that the manufactured home is on a permanent foundation helps. The Federal Housing Administration will insure mortgages for manufactured homes with permanent affixture to the land beneath them.
