Do I do a Misc 1099 to an individual to which we bought a vehicle for our company?

Hi from Just Answer. I'm PDtax.

The purchase of a vehicle is not typically reported to IRS or the recipient via Form 1099-MISC unless you bought the vehicle for resale. Since you did not, the 1099-MISC need not be filed.

Thanks for asking at just Answer. Positive feedback is appreciated. I'm PDtax.
