Customer Question

My dad is very weak from chemotherapy for stage 4 cancer. He needs a lift chair immediately so my mother won't have to lift on him. If we get a lift chair off the floor from a medical store can they process the prescription later and refund that part of
the money...or do they need the prescription at the time of purchase? Will using a prescription delay the progress as far as when we can get the chair? We really need it now and can't afford to wait.

Sorry to hear about your Dad. Note, the answer to your question solely depends upon the store policy. If the store would allow you to pay cash and you later submit the bill for your portion of reimbursement, that would be the best result. So please check with the medical supply store.

Thanks I don't know why this got sent to finance but I
actually sent it to medical. The question I intended to
ask is this: My grandmother got approved for Veterans Aid
and Attendence benefit. It is legal for her to pay me for
her care but I am unsure how to do the taxes. My taxes
have always been pretty straight forward so I am
unexperienced with this type of thing. She paid me
a couple of thousand dollars earlier in the year and
is starting to pay me again, so how do I go about
taking care of the taxes. Thanks!!
