I need to know if the county I file visitation with my child
I need to know if the county I file visitation with my child is the correct county since his mother has moved 4 times already. My son and his girlfriend had a child in Reno, NV together March 8, 2014. They aren't together. When the baby was less than a yr old she moved to Roseville with her mother. She lived there longer than 6 months. She now has a military boyfriend and he was stationed in Utah (1100 r/t miles away) at the airfares base. She just moved in November. She just told my son, she didn't involve him in what would happen regarding visiting Isaac. He pays child support. She allowed him to visit their son, but only when she felt like it. No visitation is in writing. He needs that now, for sure. I go with him on all the visits since she moved from Reno because his car isn't the best. She said we could come to Isaacs birthday party which would be in Roseville March 8th. We took time off work, then last night after asking for more money, she said we weren't invited and that she would be busy the whole time. This happened last year too. All he's asking for is visitation and for her to stop blocking it and to stop texting for more money. Now she wants money for child care. She said she wants to look for a job. He would like legal custody as well so he can have access to his medical and health, child care, education information. Not physical custody. Thanks. Hiring an attorney that would help with the necessary forms in the correct county would be helpful. He's not able to afford full service. Maybe unbundled help? … read more
