I am the mother's mom.
Customer reply replied 7 months ago
I would rather correspond this way.

No problem, mother has legal and physical custody father only has potential rights. She is free to move, relocate, deny him visitation, anything she wants since she is not married here.If he files for paternity the court will give him visitation at that time. But until then she is free to do anything she wants here in Indiana. She is free to relocate if she needs to

I appreciate the chance to help tonight and wish her the best.

If you can positive rate 5 stars it is much appreciated.

Here is some background... My husband has been a single father to his 6 year old son since he was a few months old. The mother is not in the picture, she sees him 2-5 times a year, and she lives within 15 minutes of us. Recently, he did two at-home paternity tests on him and they both said he had 0% probability of being the father. Which we suspected because his son looks completely black/African and my husband is a fair-skinned puerto rican man. We want to know, since she is not in the picture hardly ever, and this year alone has only seen him twice (once in january and once in june) what can we do about getting her rights taken away completely so that I can adopt him?… read more
