Can my sons father contest an adoption if he has already signed the relinquishment and approval of adoption?
JA: Have any papers been filed in family court regarding this matter?
Customer: Yes I have already filed and we have the adoption hearing tomorrow
JA: Has anything been filed or reported?
Customer: He has not filed anything

If he has signed a relinquishment of rights already and agreed to the adoption, then he cannot successfully object to the adoption unless he can prove his relinquishment of rights was obtained by fraud or illegal coercion. If he voluntarily signed the form absent fraud or illegal coercion, his signature on those forms would be legally binding. If he objects without proper legal cause, you can also seek attorney's fees from him for forcing you to fight the objection in court without any legal basis.
