I signed a settlement to end a child custody dispute 2 weeks

Customer Question

I signed a settlement to end a child custody dispute 2 weeks ago, and my lawyer wants me to sign the modification so it can go in front of the judge tomorrow. Do I have to sign?

Hello

This is Samuel. Are you saying you have changed your mind?

Expert:  Samuel II replied 1 year ago.

If you have changed your mind, you cannot be forced to sign the modification or any other agreement. Just tell your attorney you've changed your mind. You do not want to settle this because you feel it is not in the best interest of your child(ren) and that you felt very pressured to settle.
