I am getting ready to sign for a Parent Plus law for my son's college education. My son is not adopted by my husband. I do not know exactly how the Parent Plus loan works, since this is the first time I am taking one but I am assuming that my husband' signature is not necessary, correct? Thank you,

Thank you for the information.

Your husband cannot prevent you from signing the loan documents for your son from a previous marriage.
