my wife who i am divorcing lost 780.00 in spousal support checks. she admits through text she lost them. now she wants me to re- send the money. am i liable for this?

not yet, that was my next step .checks havent been cashed according to bank

Thank you. She is entitled to the support, so even though she lost the checks, it does not mean you would be excused from paying her. However, if there is a cost incurred to cancel and stop payment on the checks or even to send them again, then you could demand that she pay the cost, since this was a direct result of her own actions.
