Customer Question

I am most concerned with any criminal ramifications. Does this situation meet the definition of "fraud" or "theft of services" in my State (Maine)? The reason I ask is because I have seen some information that hospitals are using the theft of services
claim based on the fact that they would not have provided services if the agreement to hand over insurance payments had not been signed. Thus, the services have not been paid, so can they claim this against us? It was $40,000.
