Hi. If a person is in the process of becoming a DEA agent and a child that is not related to them lied and say they pull them by the arm and now cps is involve. Can the disqualify them from becoming a DEA agent?

This is Samuel and I will discuss this and provide you information in this regard
If there are charges and/or a conviction, yes. The DEA, as well as other such law enforcement agencies are very strict when it comes to any type of criminal activity or suspected criminal activity. Each matter is reviewed on a case by case basis, however. That means that they will look at the total person and what they can offer to the agency and not just the arrest. If there is a conviction, however, that is a definite disqualification.
