I `ve heard of a new law about ending alimony payments when a man is 80 years old and retired. Is this true?
Hello. My name is XXXXX XXXXX I will be happy to answer your question.

Unfortunately, there is no specific new law that would end alimony when the man reaches the age of 80 and each such case is reviewed by the court on a case by case basis and any man who has been ordered to pay non-modifiable alimony to his ex-wife would generally not qualify to have the alimony terminated or reduced, other than for the reasons of financial hardship.

I wish you the best of luck and please let me know if you have any related follow up questions.
