If there is an Arkansas order for extradition, Alaska will honor it as valid. However there is no guarantee that Arkansas would extradite a person over non-payment of support. Extradition motions are fairly expensive to the state, and if they do not have available resources, they may choose to refuse to pursue the extradition. This is because non-payment in the eyes of the state is a fairly low grade violation, and the states tend to instead focus on higher level violations such as issues for capital offenses such as murder, rape, robbery, and the like.
