CAN I FILE A EX-PARTE EMERGENCY CUSTODY FORM/ REQUEST WITH OUT A ATTORNEY?
Thank you for posting your question to JA/Pearl. Legal questions often take time for research or I may be offline so please be patient, I will reply.

You always have the right to represent yourself in court. That is usually not a good idea in any court but especially not in a custody situation. However, I have reviewed your previous question and such a motion would be appropriate in your case. Based on your situation the judge may not even hold a hearing but sign an order if you include one with your motion along with your sworn affidavit and the sheriff's report.

Does she still live in the county that issued the current order or do the two of you now live in the same county?
