I think her lawyer requested the info and now lawyer has the person who fired me coming to our court hearing. Is this legal in Ohio?
Expert:  Dave Kennett replied 5 years ago.
Dear JACUSTOMER - It is legal to ask for discovery of relevant information in any court case. If the firing from your job is somehow related to whatever the court hearing is concerning then it is perfectly legal to subpoena the witness. The court has the authority to issue a subpoena to any witness and have them appear in court. If you want to object as to the relevancy of the testimony you may do so. Since I don't know the fact of your case I can only comment in general.
