Customer Question

If your custody papers dont state who picks up the child for there visitation. Does the parent have to drive to pick up and drop off the child or 1 parent pick up and the other pick up at the end of the weekend?

If the papers don't state who does the driving and the picking up, it's presumed that the parties will agree.

In the interest of fairness, it would be fair to say that one parent picks up at the custodial parent's home and then the custodial parent comse to the non-custodial parent's home to pick them up at the end, or vice versa. Or the parties can agree on a mutual middle point to exchange the children.
