- How long ago was this exposure to lava?
- When did you start to notice the red lines?

- May I ask that you upload images of the red lines?
If you have no major pain, redness, tearing from the eyes, changes in vision, sensitivity to the light the first 24 hours from the exposure it is unlikely you will have issues later. The eye drops will help calm down the eyes and reduce any symptoms that may be due to dry eye and that may confuse you and worry you. It does not prevent any damage and it is unlikely there is any damage so far, from hearing your symptoms but will help prevent future confusion.
