Customer Question
90 days post-op vitrectomy...

90 days post-op vitrectomy for retinal detachment, pupil remains dilated- just looking for some good news...

Doctor's Assistant: Have you experienced any changes or blurriness in your vision? Eye pain? Are your eyes dry or bloodshot?

Bubble finally cleared up over Christmas- no eye pain, but vision is generally blurry.

Doctor's Assistant: How long have you been dealing with this? Have you been having any headaches?

RD happened end of September. No pain then or sense, just visual static, then blurriness.

Doctor's Assistant: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?

Had RK and LK in early 90's, Lasik in early 2000's, cataract surgery in early 2010's. 50 yo male with high-mileage optics.

Hello, this is Dr. Stan, thank you for your question. I am U.S. trained,

Board Certified and I have 30 years of patient experience and I am here to help you today.

Recovery can take months (2-6) to fully get back to normal sight. May I suggest a follow up visit with your Ophthalmologist if one is not already scheduled in the next few weeks. Your previous surgery is not contributing negatively to your recovery.

Thank you for allowing me to provide assistance.

I am available to answer any additional questions you may have.

I hope your medical problem(s) are resolved soon and you feel better. I sincerely ***** ***** I have helped you and that I have earned your 5 star rating today.

Please remember to rate my service by selecting the 5 stars at the top of the screen ( rating me now does not close your question). We can continue here until you are satisfied, simply use the reply box and let me know. Thank you.
