Hi,

Welcome to just answer. Could you give me some more information regarding your question -

- you have a problem while wearing contact lens?

- when do you lose focus while watching TV only? Or while studying?

- any other symptoms like headache, irritation in eye etc?

- do you have any double vision?

- when was your last eye check up?

- are you on any medicines?

Regards

Mostly watching tv or if I'm on my phone. Sometimes other times but not as much. I have astigmatism. I just hope it's nothing serious

- Do you have astigmatism in one eye only?

- Do you get loss of focus while wearing contact lens? Or does it happen while using glasses also?

- when was your last eye check up?

- since when are you having this difficulty in focus?

Regards

I have astigmatism in both eyes. I don't wear glasses so I haven't tried. It been going on for almost a week. Not really double vision. Just loses focus but I can adjust it really quickly to go back to normal

Thanks for the information.

If you are losing focus of eyes/eye, when you are wearing your correction (contact lens), then the reason most probably would be muscle weakness. If the vision in both your eyes is 20/20 after wearing contact lens, then that rules out lazy eye. With complete vision, even if on correction with contact lens, if you lose focus, you need to get your eyes checked by your doctor to look for convergence weakness. If that is present, then you will be told to do convergence exercises regularly on your own or at the doctor's clinic, depending on the amount of convergence weakness.

Hope this information is helpful

Regards
