floaters can take several weeks to resolve. The good news is that you don't have a retinal detachment or other serious condition as a cause of your symptoms.

Let me get you some patient info that should help you...

I have already looked at all the websites with this info trust me I've done my research
Eye Doctor: Doctor John MD, Board Certified MD replied 8 months ago

its usually due to thickening in the vitreous fluid. sometimes due to small amounts of blood as well.

what should I do
Eye Doctor: Doctor John MD, Board Certified MD replied 8 months ago

There nothing really to do from your standpoint. Often times, the floaters will resolve on their own. There isn't any medications or supplements that will speed up how quickly they resolve.

In some cases where the floaters are really obstructing vision, the eye specialist may recommend a laser treatment, but theres mixed research on how effective this treatment is longterm

The important part is making sure that there wasn't a more serious eye condition like retinal detachment.

is this something I should worry about looks like big gobs of bubbles and the right eye is Larry in the middle can see words or numbers
Eye Doctor: Doctor John MD, Board Certified MD replied 8 months ago

I would expect the right eye to slowly improve if its only been 2 weeks since the laser treatment. if not better in 2 more weeks, let your eye doctor know.

I didn't have laser done it was just a test
Eye Doctor: Doctor John MD, Board Certified MD replied 8 months ago

sorry, misread your response about the laser topography. But again, would allow 2 more weeks to see if improvement. If not, then contact the eye doctor for a follow up appointment.
