Customer Question

I have had giant papillary conjunctivitis since I had cataract surgery last July. My eyes are a problem with quality of life. How long should they last?
JA: When was the last time you had your eyes checked? In general, how has your vision been lately?
Customer: I have seen the doctor at least every 2 months. My eyes hurt are sensitive to light, and till have halos.
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: Allergies have made them worse. Have tried numerous drops. Prolensa, now on Pazeo. Steroids seem to make things worse.

I am sorry you have had this giant papilllary conjunctivitis since your cataract surgery

they usually don't last for more than 2-4 weeks

you can use an over the counter allergy eye drop and use oral allergy pills like allegra and steroid nasal sprays which could help.

yours don't sound like it is getting better since your surgery

you should go back to your eye doctor for evaluation. when is your follow up appointment after your cataract surgery?
