JA: When was the last time you had your eyes checked? In general, how has your vision been lately?
Customer: 4 years ago maybe, my vision is fine until my eye waters up
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?

This is Dr. Bonilla.

I understand your concerns.

The problem you described is likely to be caused by corneal ulceration after your dog's paw contacted your eye. The sensation will last for 12-36 hours. You can cover the eye and let it rest during that time. In case you noticed a purulent secretion or increasing in pain then you should see your PCP. Let me know if you have any other questions.
