my son had scratched my eye and i was dealing with a scratch and then it somehow turned i had the scratch and episcleritis. my doctor has me on tobradex ointment because lotemax was not working for the issue. he has me tapered today down for the first time and now my eye is red and sore again.
Customer: replied 9 months ago.
I am wondering if this is normal or even possible
Expert:  Dr Stan replied 9 months ago.

Yes, the scratch may not have healed sufficiently and the scleritis may also need more medication and time to heal. The Tobradex is a combination of steroid and antibiotic, so any possible infection is being treated.
