Hello.. trying to find out if sodium chloride can be used for a mild case of conjunctivitis?
JA: Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking?
Customer: Not yet..I am taking medications for blood pressure and cholestrol
JA: In general, how has your health been lately? How long have you been dealing with the issue?
Customer: First noticed the redness on Sunday.. just went to the eye do ctor or Friday for my annual exam and everything looked great! I have been experience eye dryness , itching, etc.. from allergies earlier this summer
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?

It might make it hurt worse.

If you want a home rinse, filtered camomille tea, and or eyebright tea are traditional remedies that are useful.

And you should see your doctor.

Most conjunctivitis is viral and gets better on its own.
