Dizziness not a headache but unable to sleep on one side of face.also sometimes feel like hit by a brick. As day progresses feel more tired. At end of day and not up to doing anything but going home and resting age 57 not everweight. And into weight lifting from an early age.memer of Kaiser permanence saw gp .suggested inner ear problem and do eye exercises but didn't help.thought should he an Mri any thoughts

Inner ear of human is not only meant for hearing purpose but also one of the organ that maintain body posture and issue within inner ear presents with dizziness / vertigo and balance issue .

It would be ideal for you to have ENT examination followed by MRI if needed to dig out the reason of your issue .

MRI is good option to properly diagnose , once diagnosed appropriate treatment will help you to overcome issue .

I agree that an ENT evaluation would be the appropriate next step. Most people with dizziness do not require an MRI, as the ENT evaluation will usually identify the cause. But if the cause is still unclear after the ENT evaluation, then an MRI may be necessary.
