My daughter was hit in the eye with a soccer ball. Emergency

Customer Question

My daughter was hit in the eye with a soccer ball. Emergency diagnosed retinal concussion . She reports seeing an image like you would see after looking briefly at the sun. At first it was the lower half of her vision. Now she is seeing mor around the lower peripheral sides but still has an area with the afterimage effect. What is this?
