I HAD CATARACT SURGERY DONE ON MY RIGHT EYE WITH A MONOFOCAL

Customer Question

I HAD CATARACT SURGERY DONE ON MY RIGHT EYE WITH A MONOFOCAL LENS. I NOW NEED SURGERY ON LEFT AND WOULD LIKE TO GET MULTIFOCAL LENS PUT IN THIS TIME SO I WILL NO LONGER NEED READING GLASSES AND WILL HAVE A LITTLE SHARPER DISTANCE VISION. MY RIGHT EYE HAD LASIK DONE YEARS AGO SO I HAD CLOSE VISION WITH RIGHT AND DISTANCE WITH LEFT. BUT THE LASIK STOPPED BEING EFFECTIVE AND I GOT THE PLAIN LENS BECAUSE OF COST. IF I GET THE MULTIFOCAL LENS DONE IN LEFT EYE WILL I HAVE VISION PROBLEMS? GETTING NERVIOUS

This is Dr. DAvid

yes, you can get a multifocal lens on the left eye.

this can help your vision and keep you from having to use reading glasses.

you shouldn't have vision problems
