Customer Question

Hi, some of the veins in my eye have been inflamed for a few weeks, I've been using eye drops and haven't worn my contacts since I've noticed, but they still look like this: (I am on mobile so I am including the link since I don't see a place to upload a photo)
Anything to worry about?

This is Dr. David

I got your eye photo

those blood vessels in your eyes are normal

those are normal blood vessels of the whites of your eyes or sclera.

you don't have to worry.

let me know if you have questions.

They just showed up more red and irritated a few weeks ago (only in those two areas) and when I wear contacts my eyes get even more red, should it go away with time? Can I wear the contacts anyway?
Expert:  Dr. David replied 1 year ago.

make sure you clean your contacts regularly

if the eyes are working well and you are able to see well and they are not dry or itchy, they are fine.

you don't have to worry about those blood vessels.

those are normal.
