Customer Question

I really don't know what I could have I thought it was a pimple under my skin at first, but I been having it for over 4 years and I don't think that could be the case. I've had x-rays, CT scans, and medication and I still have the same pain and doctors don't seem to find anything?? It is located beside the eye and the nose bridge on the left of my nose. If I press on it, turns red and little red bumps start showing up and it looks kinda swollen. I am afraid it could affect my eye since it's close to the tear duct. I don't understand. I only have pain when I touch that area like if I had a bruise. It's hard to even put make up on because it hurts that much that I avoid that area completely. Please can you tell me what's wrong? I been to the dermatologist and eye doctor and NOTHING. I am desperate to k know. I hope you can help. Thanks

Hi. I'm Dr. Rick and I have two decades of ophthalmology experience. I'm online and happy to answer your question today.
Can you upload a picture of this area/lesion? Here is a good way to upload a picture:
Save your picture on your computer, someplace easy to find it such as your desktop.
Go to
Upload your picture to the site by browsing for it as directed.
This opens up files on your computer. Double click on the picture you want to upload then hit open (bottom right of the screen). This will take you back to the tinypic page. Hit "upload now" then do the secret code thing and your picture will upload into the system.
Once you do that it gives you a bunch of links you can use, one of which says "direct link for layouts" It is important to use this box. It is the forth one down from the top of the page.
Copy the link from inside this box and then paste it into your justanswer dialog box and send it to your expert.

Sorry, but it won't let me upload it

OK. Well, we will just have to work without the picture.
It sounds like you are talking about a normal part of your eye anatomy called a caruncle. Here is a picture of one: height%3D294&imgrefurl=
The best way to make sure that everything is ok would be to consult with an ophthalmologist.
Does this make sense to you?
I hope this information was helpful for you. But I do work for tips so I want to make sure you are happy with me before rating me. If you have another question on this or a related issue feel free to fire away. You may also receive an email survey after our chat, if you don’t feel that I have earned a “10” rating in all areas, please let me know what I can do to meet your expectations.
Thanks in advance,

But the pain is not in the tear duct it's more beside it and by my nose. I'ts a finger away from my eye.

Ok. Well, without a picture..or examining you in person, it is going to be hard to tell for sure what is going on.
Can you save you picture in a jpeg format?
If you are using an apple product, our system doesn't play well with apple...sorry :(
You may have to just bite the bullet and see an ophthalmologist in person.
Let me know if you can get a picture to work and I'll be happy to review it for you.

All I have done so far is to try and get more information to help you. You are unable to upload a picture and didn't even give me a chance to try and help you without it.....not very nice at all.
I am sorry to see that you have given me a poor rating for the assistance I have provided. Ratings do not apply to system malfunctions...only to the quality of the expert.
I would ask that you give me a chance to provide you with further data so that you have the information you need to address your issue.
I would appreciate a good or excellent rating and will work hard to obtain it if given the chance.
Thank you.
