Hi, probably being silly but I'm using novanac drops prior to my cataract surgery on Monday and last night I touched the tip of the bottle to my fingernail. I had just washed my hands prior to putting the drop in. Do I need to somehow clean the tip? thank you
Dr. Rick :

Hi. I'm online and happy to answer your question today.

Dr. Rick :

That is a very good question.....and good news.

Dr. Rick :

You have nothing to worry about. Touching the tip of the bottle to your fingernail will not cause any significant contamination of the drops or in any way harm anything at all.

Dr. Rick :

You can continue to use the drops as directed without concern.

Customer:

phew! thank you -

Dr. Rick :

Good luck on your upcoming eye surgery. You are going to be amazed how white things are post op :)

Dr. Rick :

My pleasure. Have a good weekend.
