Ask an Eye Doctor and Get an Answer ASAP
Hello, Welcome to Pearl.com
Are you available for chat now?
Does he have any visual complaints now such as blurring of vision?
yes it is blurred
Apart from nausea and dizziness does he have any weakness in any part of the body ( such as one half of the body), slurring of speech? Does he have any history of hypertension?
no weakness..no hypertension
no slurring of speech
Is the blurring of vision the same in both eyes or is it only in one eye? Does he have any pain in the eyes too?
Headache..no pain in the eyes..equal blurring
I would also want to know if there is any redness in the eye?
One of the possibilities is that he is experiencing symptoms of migraine.
thank you..just wanted to make sure it was not an emergency
Migraine is known to be associated with symptoms of headache, nausea, altered vision .
My concern was of angle closure glaucoma but then it is unlikely to have manifested in both eyes simultaneously. It would have been associated severe redness/watering/intolerence to bright light.Since he does not have these symptoms the chances of it are bleak.
