Customer Question

My daughter age 40 just had a procedure for  WPW yesterday, 4/2/12. I believe it is called catherization Ablation. She came home from the hospital today 4/3/12 and told me she had something wrong with her eyes. I think it was on the side of her eyes. Could it be from the anthestia. Please advise. She called her doctor, but he did not call her back. Should she see an eye doctor. Carol

Doctor DanB :

Hello and thanks for your question. Are you available to chat?

Doctor DanB :

Can you tell me what is wrong with her eyes?

Doctor DanB :

Unfortunately it would be difficult to predict just based on the procedure she had done, what was wrong with her eyes, because this procedure by itself doesn't usually cause eye complications.

Customer :

Dear Doctor DanB. She had flashing on the side of her eyes. It is now a few hours later and she said she felt fine. Could this be that she might get a headache so her eyes are bothering her.
