Hello, Have been getting tingling in my limbs and sometimes the numbness in one of my legs even wakes me up (it can happen to either leg). The cramps in my legs are difficult to withstand also. I had an MRI of my brain (without contrast) and the neurologist said everything is fine, that it's probably stress-related. My doctor understandably doesn't want to second-guess the neurologist and said the only thing we can do is re-take the MRI in a year.

What really freaks me out is the blurry vision. I've been getting episodes of blurry vision in one eye at a time, usually when I wake up but it resolves on its own within a few hours. It's not exactly mild and I notice it even in the dark.

When I started getting blurry vision in August I went to the optometrist and she didn't see anything.

My question to you is should I see an opthalmologist? In other words, is there anything the opthalmologist can do that the optometrist is unable to? Do you think by now there is a change? I feel like I'm going crazy so I'm reluctant to seeing an opthalmologist unless he can help me. I need your help. I just don't want to look stupid.

There were no headaches, double vision, nausea, light-sensitivity, eye pain, flashing lights or droopy eyelid associated with these episodes but I do get weird headaches around my eyes and sometimes it even feels like my eye hurts.
