Ask an Eye Doctor and Get an Answer ASAP
Hi. I'm online and happy to answer your question today.
You know, as a retina specialist myself, from what you are telling me it doesn't sound like your green/grey film is consistent with a diagnosis of floaters.
This being said, I do not have the luxury of doing a comprehensive eye exam like your ophthalmologist did. Perhaps it would be best for you to consider obtaining a second opinion from another eye surgeon....
As to whether or not this is a macular issue it is hard to tell -- many conditions can have an improvement in vision after dilation.
Does this make sense to you?
And, now, the obligatory word from our sponsors: :o)
