I just saw an advertisememt for "gentle eye molding". Is it safe? I am 60 years old and am pretty much blind in the left eye (been that way since birth) and I now need glasses to read and have a little blurriness in distances too.

That means, usually, that they use hard contact lenses to "warp" your cornea so you can, briefly, see better while your eyeball slowly tries to undo the warping (read, in my mind, damage) the contact lens has done.
