Dr. Rick :

Hi. I'm online and happy to answer your question today.

Dr. Rick :

How dilated is the one eye?

Dr. Rick :

Can you take a picture of it and upload it if I give you a link?

Customer: It's about twice the size of the right one
Dr. Rick :

That is big.....any chance of sending me a picture of your two eyes together?

Customer: My computer is down and I'm working from my iPad. Not sure how to upload pictures to it yet
Dr. Rick :

Ya....I pads can be hard to do that on.

Dr. Rick :

What medicines are you taking, including any herbs/vitamins? Any change you could have got something in your eye?

Customer: Just taking pre-natal vitamins, calcium and DHA. I used an eye drop earlier today for eye allergies. I' ve used them before with no trouble but ....
Dr. Rick :

ahhhhh.....what was the name of the drop?

Customer: Bausch & Lomb. Opcon - A
Dr. Rick :

Yup. That can dilate your eye. Why one more then the other? Not sure, but it is possible.

Dr. Rick :

So. Nothing to worry about. No brain tumor :)

Customer: Ok. Any idea when it should return to normal?
Dr. Rick :

Everyone always thinks about brain tumor first lol!

Dr. Rick :

Could be 4 to 6 hours.

Dr. Rick :

Maybe not until the morning. It will also not harm the baby......

Customer: Thanks
Dr. Rick :

My pleasure. Congrats on the upcoming new addition.
