my friend was checking gold and accidently put acid in his eye thinking it was eye drops o remove his contacts flushed with water but eye is now lighter in color than the other

The lighter color indicates corneal damage. He needs to irrigate it out and call 911 so that paramedics can continue to irrigate it on his way to the ER. There he can have the ph tested and get evaluated appropriately. I know it sounds drastic but it is imperative. Dr.Stevens
