Is the discharge watery or purulent i.e pus like?
Is the vision affected?
It looks like viral conjunctivitis to me. Anti-biotics drops like Tobramycin may be prescribed to prevent bacterial infection or when the doctor is not sure wheteher it is bacterial or viral. If it's viral then it will not respond to Tobramycin. Still you continue using it and if there is no improvement you can discontinue it after seeing your ophthalmologist. You may require just lubricants or if the cornea also gets involved then probably steroids. You can discuss it with your ophthalmologist. Thanks and best wishes.
