Hello,

You have had a cataract surgery 2 days back and are doing good post-operatively. Normally if there are no operative or post-operative complications there is no need for any retinal surgery or rehab. You need to enquire about the need for a retinal surgery in your case in the first place. It is only done in case there is a retinal detachment or vitrectomy is done in case of a dropped nucleus. In case a gas bubble is put ,head positioning is required for few days. Surely you would have been told if any of these would have occured. Anyways you can review and confirm.

Thanks and best wishes
