Apart from bloodshot eyes , does she have any pain or discomfort in the eyes?

Any watering or discharge from eyes?

Has she got hypertension/ is she taking any medicines like aspirin?

Customer: replied 7 years ago.
She has a headache and she says her eyes are watering a bit. At this point she has no hypertension as of last months Doctors visit. She did take some aspirin for her headache before this started.

She could be having infective conjunctivitis(bacterial) for she needs to put antibiotic eye drops like tobramicin or moxifloxacin, 1 drop 6 times a day for a week. She can avoid warm compresses.

For the headache she can take tab.Paracetamol 650 mg SOS and repeat if headache persists after 12 hours.

A sub-conjunctival hemorrhage also gives bloodshot appearance of eyes but generally has no other associated eye symptoms like watering. It heals by itself without any medication. A single dose of aspirin is unlikely to cause such a condition but chronic use of aspirin may precipitate sub-conjunctival hemorrhage.

Thanks and best wishes
