Your tears are made of 3 different layers -- water layer, mucous layer, and oil layer. Within your eyelids, there is a row of oil glands just inside the eyelash margin. The oils help the tears stay on your eyeball longer by limiting evaporation. By pushing on your lower eyelid, you are likey secreting the oils from the glands -- causing a film over your vision due to now an abundance of oil in your tears.

If you have symptoms of blurry vision only when you are pushing on or massaging your eyelids, then it is likely normal and you do not need to worry.
