in liver failure, was extremely sclera

Resolved Question:

I developed autoimmune hemolytic anemia a few yrs ago, ended up in liver failure, was extremely jaundiced. Since then I have noticed that my sclera are no longer white, they are very dark...and I look tired and sickly because of there anything I can use to help this ?

You can change your diet to a low fat diet with lots of vegetables, particularly green leafy vegetable, avoid cigarettes and ultraviolet sun exposure. Slowly over time, the sclera can become a bit more white. Dr. Stevens
