When my grandson is photographed his eye always looks white/cloudy is there something wrong?

What is his eye? can you elaborate on the issue some more?

He hardly ever looks straight on when you try to take a picture of him, when you use a flash the picture of his right eye (mainly) makes his pupil look white (as if it has a film over it)

My daughter sent me a couple a pictures this morning as was quite worried but it did the same in his left eye (but mainly his right eye)
