Hello there

you may have a small abrasion on the surface of the eye. If this is what you have it will get better within a day or so. It is possible you may actually have something in the eye and these typically wash out with what you have tried. My suggestion would be to purchase some lubricating eye drops such as Refresh Celluvisc or Optive and use it every couple of hours and see if this helps. If the sensation is still there tomorrow, call and get in with an eye doctor so he can check to see what is happening, i wish you well, Dr. Stevens
