My father just passed this month and he didn't have a Will
My father just passed this month and he didn't have a Will but I am the executor of his estate. When I went to his bank they told me I was the primary benefactor and that he also had just recently put his daughters name on there to so all I had to do was bring in a copy of his death cert. When I came back I was told that my name had been removed from the account and they needed to talk to there legal dept. about this and they couldn't give me any information about my dad's account. This was three weeks ago still have not heard anything when I called on the 22nd I was told they were still investigating and would get back to me. I am the benefecary for all my father's policies and find it hard to believe he would remove my name from anything. We have already buried him and I need that money to cover my expenses seeing as though I paid cash for the funeral. what should I do? … read more
