My condolences to you on your loss. In general if you abandon the property, as is your right as an inheritor, the estate remains responsible. That means that until and if you remove the home, the estate continues to be liable for the monthly lot rent. There is no inherent penalty for abandoning but you would not be able to close out the estate with outstanding debts. Right now the mobile home still belongs to the estate because title has not been yet transferred (the estate did not transfer assets out).
