Customer Question

My ex husband died last month and my son is working with a lawyer to dived all property evenly with his sisters per the will. now my question is why does the lawyer need information on bank accounts that were closed in the past before he died?
JA: Have any legal documents been drafted or filed?
Customer: I think so but my son wont even give his sisters the name of the lawyer
JA: Estate planning laws vary by state. What state are you in?
Customer: arizona
JA: Anything else you want the lawyer to know before I connect you?
Customer: not really except I thought all the lawyer would need is what he had the day he died because my son is threatening his sister for old information.
