Good Afternoon,

When you inherit home there is no legal requirement that you must be represented by an attorney. It is highly recommended that you do consult an attorney because of the many issues that may arise from the real property transaction. There could be state and federal tax questions for example.

In conclusion, there is no statutory requirement that a beneficiary of real property must be represented by an attorney in order to receive title to the real property inherited from an estate.

Please let me know if you have an additional question or need clarification. I greatly appreciate you rating my answer and Hope I can be of assistance in the future.
