I have some questions about filing a 1041 trust return. My

Customer Question

I have some questions about filing a 1041 trust return. My fathers assets were all held in a qualified revocable trust. He died in 12/28/2014 and I filed his final 1040 in 2014. All 2015 income is attributable to the qualified revocable trust. However, it took Merrill Lynch a couple of months to transfer the holdings to an account with the trust TIN. As a result I have one 1099 under his SSN rather that the Trust. Do I need to include an attachment explaining this on the 1041? I have a couple of other questions but let's start with this one.

I would be easier for me if you would provide all of your questions before I answer.

Thanks in advance.
