Customer Question

my husband died in 2015 in NJ; I am not the executrix, his daughter is and she is asking me for a list of "jointly held assets that we had/have. Isn't only what was held on the date of death reportable?

Thank you for your question. I look forward to working with you to provide you the information you are seeking for educational purposes only.
Jointly owned assets in NJ go to the joint owner, but are still listed in the probate documents in surrogate court. So you have to report the property as being jointly held in the surrogate court forms.
